EFEITOS DA MICROCORRENTES NA CICATRIZAÇÃO DE FERIDAS EM RATOS DIABÉTICOS

Resumo


Introdução: O diabetes mellitus abrange um conjunto de desordens metabólicas que gera diversas complicações, principalmente as lesões cutâneas de difícil resolução, as quais necessitam de recursos auxiliares para sua recuperação. Desta forma, destacam-se as microrrentes como opção terapêutica para o tratamento destas feridas. Objetivo: analisar a cicatrização de feridas cutâneas de ratos diabéticos tratados com microcorrentes. Métodos: utilizou-se 30 ratos, distribuídos em 2 grupos, analisados no 7º, 14º e 21º dia, identificados como GC (grupo controle) e GM (grupo microcorrentes). Resultados: o GM 7 dias, obteve um índice de contração maior do que o GC, entretanto no 21° dia o GC foi superior ao GM. Conclusão: na fase proliferativa da cicatrização o microcorrentes foi eficaz na melhora da cicatrização.
